Rental Policy

Rental Terms for renting with Dolled Up Darlings Pageant Rentals..

Rental Period:

  • Standard Rental Period: Friday to Sunday. If you need the rental before Friday, you are responsible for letting us know and paying that fee.

  • Return Deadline: Rentals must be shipped back on Monday following your event. If Monday is a holiday, Tuesday shipping is expected.

Booking and Payments:

  • Deposit: A non-refundable half deposit is required to reserve a date.

  • Balance: Remaining balance is due one week before your event.

Shipping Instructions:

  • Initial Shipping: Rentals will be sent UPS Ground the Monday before your pageant weekend. Earlier shipping is possible if circumstances allow.

  • Return Shipping: Must be via UPS or Fed-Ex ONLY. USPS/post office is prohibited.

  • Label Printing: Printing UPS labels at home via pirateship.com is recommended for cost savings.

Responsibilities:

  • Documentation: A copy of your driver’s license is required for identity verification.

  • Damage or Loss: You are responsible for any damages/loss of rental.

  • Cleaning: Do not clean the rentals. If an accident happens, inform us immediately for specific instructions.

Fees:

  • Rescheduling: A $15 fee applies for moving or changing your rental.

  • Smoke Damage: A $30 fee will be assessed if the rental returns with a smoke smell.

  • Late Returns: Late returns will incur an additional $50 a day fee until the rental is returned. Potential overnight shipping may be added if it affects the next renter.

Prohibitions:

  • No Smoking: Smoking in or around the rentals is strictly prohibited.

  • Food and Drink: Avoid consuming food or drinks in the rentals without protective covering.

  • Alterations: No alterations or embellishments other than a safety pin. Notify us before using any adhesive.

Liability:

  • Theft or Non-Return: Legal action will be pursued if the rental is not returned or is withheld unlawfully.
